False Prophets and Rotten Ideals is Herrementari's second album.

Through 11 pummeling tracks combining death metal slamming brutality with beatdown vicious aggression, we explore themes such as sectarian fanaticism and the darker side of the human soul.

Our main lyrical inspirations were the wicked ideologies found within various New Age and Abrahamic sects; while our main musical influences came from New York's groovy and slammy death metal as well as Belgium's flourishing metallic hardcore and beatdown H8000 scene.

First released in August 2024 on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms, the album finally dropped on limited cardboard CDr edition by our label Slamdown Nation in November 2024, then on vinyl records in February 2025.
